I just got back from visiting San Diego -- the University of California campus there and the USC Annenberg School for Communication are my two choices for continuing on in graduate school. I've been working on this process of starting a PhD program for over a year, and now it's finally down to the decision.
Kinda scary, as this will pretty much determine the rest of my academic career in many ways. They're both GREAT schools, but both very different. It's the proverbial fork in the road, and I gotta choose.
I'm still just trying to get my head around the idea of living in San Diego or L.A. - not being here my my grey, clammy Seattle.
OK gotta sit down and clear my head.
